Beautiful hotel just outside of Bédoin. We were very warmly welcomed and even able to check out the rooms before confirming. I was a bit late getting back down the Ventoux but this was no issue for them and I was allowed to have a shower and check out later.
The evening dinner was also very nice and good value. The garden and pool area looked very nice.
A definte recommendation if visiting Bédoin.
Our first issue was that not a single staff member wore a mask, neither outdoor nor indoor. Nevertheless, they where friendly and the scenery was nice on the outdoor terrace. However, the food was not nice at all. It was pretentious but failed miserable to live up to their aspirations. The risotto for example was very greasy and rice was almost not to be found in the plate. The fish ordered by our neighboring table smelled a week old. Would not recommend.
Quaint hotel, located in a charming setting. Friendly staff, and good facilities for those interested in cycling.
However, the lack of soundproofing in the hotel is a real challenge for sleeping. Noise reverberates in the shared corridors and the on-site restaurant backs on to many rooms and so is audible until late.
Five stars is in comparison to the cost. There is real value here, especially if your cycling the ventoux. Only 1.9km (nearly flat) from the base of the climb. Really lovely room, very attentive staff and just a beautiful setting amongst the pines. Kitchen was much better than expected. Avignon just a short 40km drive away. Highly recommended!
A great location for a stay in the Mont Ventoux area. Excellent rooms, great food and secure bike storage all make for a relaxing experience. We returned in 2018 and it was our best stay yet!
Beautiful hotel in stunning setting. Air conditioned, pool, bar, fantastic restaurant on site, free parking and large comfortable rooms. Highly recommend
This was a wonderful hotel. The rooms are fantastic, the staff are kind and friendly. I enjoyed the courtyard too. Highly recommended.
I had a dinner here and the overall experience was very positive. Nice location too.
